Is the French language written exactly how it is spoken like English is?
You know, from beginning to end. Some languages, when you translate what they say, it’s all jumbled up when you write it? Is French as straightforward as English, as in what is written is exactly how it is said with no ambiguities?
For example: When said in French: “I am going shopping today”
Is it written exactly how it’s said: “I am going shopping today”
or is it like: “I shopping going today” sort of things?
Any help much appreciated.
