I will be moving to Spain within the next few years and am a native Spanish speaker, however, I would like to learn a third language for my career. Which of these three (Arabic, French or Portuguese) would be the most useful for an international career?

I know my skills for learning a second language in a high school class, and I didn’t do so well. (It was for Spanish)

Now that I’m in college, I want to take French, but should I do that, or should I use a computer program like Rosetta Stone?

I really want to learn to speak french fluently. What is the best way? My friend told me to watch french tv shows and listen to french radio in my sleep? Should I get a cd and book at my local book store? If so, what is the best book for learning french. And any other quick ways to learn will be great! Thanks.

There used to be commercials for a program that you could watch that would help you learn french. In the commercial the “dragon” would say something like, “Bonjour, je suis la jous vie” or something like that. And there would be cartoon children imitating him. If anyone can tell me his name, that would be a biig help. It’s been driving me crazy.

I’m 15 years old. If I moved to canada would I have to learn French? I’m in year 11 in UK so what school would I go to? How is the school system like, is it at all similar to UK?

My daughter has the opportunity of learning in French or Spanish for half of the day, everyday, in school.

I want to learn french, but I cant decide on if I want to go with Quebec French or France French. i live in Canada so Quebec French would benefit me here if I was to learn it and would be easier to learn here. I am currently in a french program, but I’m not fluent. I can read and write in french pretty fluently but I’m not that good in speaking. I want to be a Director and when I study my Arts, they’re in french which is harder than learning it in English. Should i just continue French or should I drop out? Is there an advantage, for Directors, if you know French? (You have a better chance of being chosen for the job?)
