I took 4 years of french in high school & i’m taking french 1 in college. I told someone I would help him learn it because he’s not doing good on tests & quizzes..

any tips? He’s in like his 40′s if that makes a difference

I respect French people (I like France more then the US and I live in the US, France just seems awesome) Here is what I know already about law and stuff.
Making racist comments is iilegal.
Denying the holocaust is iilegal
expressing homophobia is iilegal
there is minor censorship
I want to learn stuff like, Table manners, Casual apparel, etc
It would be neater if an actual French person answered, Oh and how do I say if someones french?
Frenchman, Frenchian, or just French.
