Because Canada is a bilingual country, it makes me wonder if some businesses, schools, and other places in different provinces require you to learn French if you know English. If you do have to, or if it’s optional, plz say where.

I live in Los Angeles,CA and I’d like to learn French. I check at the Alliance Francise de LA. They offer beginners’ classes in the evening time during the week .
