Im just curious. Why would a black american girl want to learn french instead of Swahili?
Neither language is all that popular in America, french will inevitably die out. But swahili has closer ethnic tied for the descendant of a slave than french would. Why learn either at all? And if you wanted to learn one, why pick french? Id rather learn a language without an alphabet than one that cant spell

I have just chosen my GCSE options and I’m dropping French but I still want to learn it at home?
I saw an advert on tv where you have a disk and headphones and you learn and read french on the computer. Does anyone know what it is?

ASL is just our deaf language
All people use many different languages, even homemade signs.. nothing is wrong.. just respect for one another ‘s comforting communication through the ASL , PSL or SEE signs-even homemade signs! To keep the peace and let them use whatever they use for their own languages. We dont argue against the French language in Canada so should people do the same for not arguing against ASL for the peace’sake.
