I have never taken a French language course. I know basic Spanish. What will be the best/most efficient way for me to learn French in one year?

I found out last year that I am of French ancestry, and after looking into it for awhile, I have decided that is where I think I will want to live! The thing is, I don’t know French and I don’t know a safe/reliable language learning site! Any tips? And also, I would like to chat with some French natives!
