The song “Bel Ami’ also became popular in France during the Second World War and it was recorded by none other than the popular Tino Rossi and German emigrée Eva Busch – both for the Columbia record company. Other – lesser known versions exist as well…. The version presented today is a fine version recorded in Brussels in 1941 by Lise Coliny who – at that time – was one of Belgium’s most popular French language singers. Today she is completely forgotten… She recorded het version with the orchestra of Emile Deltour/Eddie Tower. F. 257 Brussels, 1941 Record in excellent condition This record was transferred and equalized using the Ortofon Om78 cartridge and stylus as well as a 78rpm phono preamp in order to get an acceptable 78rpm equalization!

When I decided to learn French I decided to hire a private tutor. The cost of private tutor in my area was very high. I have taken class for four months but I felt like I wasn’t close to having the basic knowledge of the French. I decided to stop the classes because it was getting very expensive and I was unable to learn from the tutor’s method. Private tutors are only seemed to care about money. Some people can teach French and some can’t. Some people have talent to explain things that anyone can understand easily.

You must have seen books and audio in stationary for these language courses. From these sources of language no one can learn a particular language.
